Cause
The Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) has supported individuals and families for over 43 years ensuring no one journeys through death and grief alone. COHA serves communities from Peachland to Lake Country - offering emotional, spiritual, and practical support. Palliative Care Services include companionship, respite, vigil and caregiver support. Grief and bereavement services are offered for ages 5 and up including professional grief counselling, grief and walking groups, horse whisperer and water camps, expressive art nights and supports in School District 23. Integrating wellness supports such as yoga, reiki and mindfulness help bring a holistic approach to care and support. As a not-for-profit, we rely heavily on donor and community generosity and the commitment of more than 185 trained and compassionate volunteers help COHA deliver quality services without financial or social barriers, helping ensure dignity, comfort, and connection during life’s most difficult moments.Important dates
